Rupert Crosse

Rupert Crosse ( born November 29, 1927 in New York City; † March 5, 1973 in Nevis) was an American film actor.

Life

Crosse was in the late 1950s in the United States as a guest performer in television series, including Daktari (1966) and Bonanza (1970 ) popular.

Alfred Hitchcock thriller Marnie from 1964 ranks amongst Crosses known films, although he was only seen in a supporting role. His lasting successful film was the 1969 film produced The Rogue (The Reivers ), an Oscar nomination in the category was awarded Best Supporting Actor for the Crosse in 1970. 1971, the African American was hired as the main character of the television series The Partners, but this was discontinued due to lack of success after only one season.

Rupert Crosse was a good friend of Jack Nicholson, who was able to persuade Crosse in 1973, a supporting role in his film | to take the last command. However, Rupert Crosse died shortly before filming began at the age of 46 years to cancer.
