Ruppertsweiler

Ruppertsweiler is a municipality in the southwest, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Pirmasens country.

Geography

Ruppertsweiler located in the southwest of the Palatinate Forest. 66.1 % of the district area is forested. Nearest large city is located west of Pirmasens.

History

The place belonged to the rule Lviv, which in 1570 was up to the extinction of the line belonged to the counts of Zweibrücken- Bitsch, then came to the Counts of Hanau -Lichtenberg and 1736 to the Landgrave of Hesse -Darmstadt.

Ruppertsweiler is accessed via minor roads. Northeast of the B 10 passes. About them there is also access to the A 62 in the West.
