Course
The Rupt de Mad rises in the municipality of Geville, east of Commercy, drained generally in a northeasterly direction through the Regional Natural Park of Lorraine, happened just east of Lac de Madine and ends after 55 kilometers at Arnaville as a left tributary of the Moselle River. Attractions
The hill of Montsec (fr: Butte de Montsec ) is located on the south shore of Lac de Madine. At the top of the hill there is a monument commemorating the offensives of the U.S. Army against Saint -Mihiel in the First World War. The monument is classified as a monument historique.
