Rusinowa

Rusinowa ( German Reußendorf also:. Reußendorf b Waldenburg ) is a district of the city Wałbrzych in the Province of Lower Silesia in Poland.

Geography

Rusinowa lies to the east of the Waldenburg highlands. Neighboring towns are Julianów Nowy ( New Juliansdorf ) in the north, Dziećmorowice, Zagórze Śląskie and Podlesie ( grove ) in the southeast and Kamieńsk ( Stone Ground ) and Jedlina -Zdrój in the south. The southwest lie the district Dzietrzychów ( Dittersbach ) and the castle Neuhaus, west of the district Nowe Miasto (New Town).

History

Reußendorf was first mentioned in 1305 as "villa ottonis " in Breslauer episcopal register interest and for the year 1361 of a nickel " Ottendorf " is occupied. From the end of the 14th century the name " Reußendorf " is a naturalized. It belonged to the castle district of Kynsburg in the Duchy Schweidnitz and came together with it in 1368 to the Crown of Bohemia. For the year 1493, it is included in a directory owned by the family Czettritz. 1576 are occupied twelve farmers and in 1601 the first house Weber.

After the First Silesian War in 1742 Reußendorf coincided with almost all of Silesia to Prussia. Began in 1765, coal production, which in course of time in the pits " grace of God ", " Hubert ", " luck ", " Caesar " and " Mining Law " took place. After the reorganization of Prussia Reußendorf belonged since 1815 to the province of Silesia and was from 1816 the district of Waldenburg incorporated, with which it was connected until 1945. 1818 consisted of 839 residents Reußendorf and the colony Neukraußendorf from 193 residents. Beginning of the 19th century was the Reußendorf Castle in possession of Wolfgang Moritz of Krauhs ( Crauss ). Economic importance was the house weaving, which was operated in 1825 to 54 looms in the 19th century. In 1876 there were only 24 looms.

Since 1874, the country seat of the municipality was Reußendorf office district of the same, which also included the rural community of Stone Ground ( Kamieńsk ) and the Gutsbezirk Reussdorf. 1933 Reußendorf connection received on the Waldburger circular path. 1939, the number of inhabitants including Neukraußendorf 3376.

As a result of World War II Reußendorf fell in 1945 as almost all of Silesia to Poland and was renamed Rusinowa. The German population was expelled. The new inhabitants were partly displaced persons from eastern Poland. 1950 Rusinowa was incorporated into the city Wałbrzych. 1975-1998 belonged to Rusinowa Voivodeship Wałbrzych.

Attractions

  • The Reußendorf castle served since 1888 the porcelain manufacturer Egmont Tielsch, heir and owner of the Porcelain Manufactory C. Tielsch & Co., as a family residence. After the transition to Poland after 1945 it was used as an orphanage and school. In the former castle garden there is a swimming pool.
