Russell Vis

Russell Vis ( born June 22, 1900 in Grand Rapids ( Michigan), † 1 April 1990 ) was an American wrestler.

Career

He learned wrestling in college and was winner of several high school championships of Oregon. In 1916 he came to the Olympic Club of San Francisco. He won many regional championships and the Pacific Coast Championships 1918. 1919 his family moved to Los Angeles, he joined the Los Angeles Athletic Club at, where he served over 60 years.
