Russian cruiser Varyag (1983)

The Varyag (Russian Варяг ) is a guided missile cruiser Slava class in the Russian Navy.

The ship was launched in 1983 by the stack and the Pacific Fleet was assigned.

The Varyag was assigned to the Russian fleet in the fourth quarter of 2013, cruising in the Mediterranean. Together with the flagship of the fleet, the battle cruiser Pyotr Veliky and several support vessels, it is there to protect Russian interests. The ship visited the first warship of the Russian Navy since 1992 on November 11, 2013 for a six night stay at the port of Alexandria.
