Rustington

Rustington is a municipality and a seaside resort on the English Channel near Littlehampton in the English county of West Sussex, Arun District. Despite a population of 12,676 (2001 ) and a small town feel of the place has retained the status of a village due to a vote of the population.

Rustington has the Angmering Station rail connection. In the center of some cottages from the 17th and 18th century are worth seeing, some thatched it. The place was the venue for the 1952 World Chess Championship. A twinning is with the City of Los Altos (California ), and since 2002 with the community Künzell / Germany.
