Rustroff
Rustroff ( German Rüsdorf, Lorraine Réischtroff ) is a commune with 577 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district of Thionville -Est and Canton Sierck- les- Bains.
Geography
Rustroff lies about 16 kilometers northeast of Thionville at an altitude 147-358 m above sea level, the average height is 300 m. The municipality covers 3.23 km ² and touches in the north of the Moselle near the border triangle France - Germany - Luxembourg.
History
The place belongs since 1661 to France and was incorporated from 1811 to 1880 after Sierck.
