Rut, Tolmin

Ruth (formerly German Ruth ) is a village belonging to the municipality of Tolmin in Slovenia. It is located in the edge area of ​​the Triglav National Park in the valley Baska grapa.

Ruth is the neighboring village of Grant emerged as the 13th century by the settlement of immigrants from Tyrol. It was part of the former German-speaking island Zarz (Slovenian: Sorica ). Even today, the name in the area of this story.
