Rutan Boomerang

Boomerang (Model 202) is the name of a twin-engine aircraft for a maximum of five people, which is characterized by an unconventional structure. It was designed and built by Burt Rutan and his company Scaled Composites and experienced its first flights in November 1996.

The special feature of Boomerang is the asymmetry: the two propellers not sit symmetrically left and right of the main axis, instead of sitting in the center, and the other slightly to the rear left. To compensate for the asymmetry of the blade is longer than the other and viewed from above they form the shape of a boomerang - hence the name of the aircraft.
