Ruth Stephan

Ruth Johanna Margaret Stephan ( born October 27, 1925 in Altona, † August 8, 1975 in Berlin) was a German actress and comedienne.

Life

The daughter of the businessman Kurt Stephan and his wife Kriemhild initially worked as a bank clerk. After studying acting at Heinz Hohenstein Ruth Stephan played at various theaters and cabarets of Berlin. She stepped beside Brigitte Mira, Gisela Trowe and Walter Gross on in the cabaret revues Greiffi 1951 and was next to Wolfgang Neuss and Ursula Herking the founding of the cabaret ensemble The oat stem.
