Rutilius Taurus Aemilianus Palladius

, Rutilius Taurus Aemilianus usually just called Palladius Palladius, was a Roman specialist writer who lived in the 4th century AD.

From Palladius Opus Agriculturae is (sometimes De Re Rustica called ) obtained a treatise of agriculture in 14 books. The first book contains general rejections. In the books, the author describes in detail 2-13 for each month of the year ( see monthly images ) are the typical work on a Roman farm. Book 14 deals with veterinary medicine. Book 15 provides instructions for tree processing ( de insitione ) in metric form ( couplets ).

In the Roman agricultural literature, the predecessor Marcus Porcius Cato the Elder ( De agricultura ), Marcus Terentius Varro can be called ( Rerum rusticarum libri tres ) and Lucius Junius Moderatus Columella ( De re rustica libri ).
