Ruud Geels

Gertruida Maria Geels ( pronunciation: [. . Ɣe ː r ˌ ma ː trœy̯.da ria ls ɣe ː ] ) called Ruud ( pronunciation: [ ryt ] ) ( born July 28, 1948) is a former Dutch football player.

Club career

Geels began his career in the youth teams of RKVV DSS and RKSV Onze Gezellen. In 1964 he came to Stormvogels Telstar and achieved in only eight games already five goals. In 1966, he joined the Dutch club Feyenoord Rotterdam bulk. In Rotterdam Geels won the 1969 Dutch double ( league and cup ).
