Ruud Vormer

Ruud Vormer (born 11 May 1988 in Hoorn ) is a Dutch football player. Since summer 2008 to spring 2012, the midfielder was at Roda JC Kerkrade in the Eredivisie under contract in the summer of 2012 Vormer moved to Feyenoord Rotterdam.

Career

Association

Vormer played in the youth division of the AZ Alkmaar, where it ran aground in part as a team captain. In this position, he led his 2006 team at an international tournament with teams like SC Internacional, Atletico Madrid and Olympique Marseille in the final of the tournament, where they lost 0-2 but against the Brazilian club SC Internacional. In the summer of 2008 Vormer moved to league rivals Roda JC Kerkrade. Under coach Raymond Atteveld the midfielder then made ​​it into the starting eleven. The season did not optimal and in October Atteveld was Martin Koopman and that a month later replaced by Harm van Veldhoven. Vormer managed to keep it under these a permanent place in the team. National

With the Dutch U17 Vormer could win the bronze medal in 2005 at the World Championships in Peru. Only in the semi-finals had to admit defeat 4-0 against the eventual champions carrier from Mexico.

Vormer also was U -21 national team of his country and was nominated for the 2008 Toulon Tournament in France. In 2009 he was re-appointed to the squad for the tournament of the U21 Toulon.
