Þrúðvangr

Thrudheim or Thrudvang (. Þrúðheimr from Old Norse Þrúðvangr " force home ", " force field " ) is in Norse mythology, the realm of the Aesir Thor (s: Edda / Snorra Edda / Gylfaginning, 21). In Thrudvang is the hall Bilskirnir.

" Holy is the land that I see are The Aesir and Alfs close. There in Thrudheim Thor shall dwell Until the gods pass away. "

The prologue to the Edda Snorra sets Thrudheim pseudo historically identical with Thrace.
