Ruzi Ying

Ru Zi or růží Ying ( * 5 AD; † 25 AD) was a Chinese emperor of the Western Han Dynasty.

Life

As the successor to Han Zi ascended Pingdi Ru 6 AD the Chinese imperial throne. He ruled for three years as a child king to 9 AD and was ousted by his successor Wang Mang. With the disempowerment of Ru Zi ended in the Western Han Dynasty and started the short-lived Xin Dynasty under Emperor Wang Mang. Ru Zi was married to a granddaughter of Wang Mang.
