Ryan Carter

Ryan Michael Carter ( born August 3, 1983 in White Bear Lake, Minnesota ) is an American professional ice hockey player who is since October 2011 at the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League contract.

Career

The 1.85 -meter center, played for the Green Bay Gamblers in the U.S. Junior League United States Hockey League, during his studies was the Left shooter then subsequently for the team of the Minnesota State University, Mankato in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association, a League in the play mode of the National Collegiate Athletic Association, on the ice. 2006 signed a contract with the Canadians the Anaheim Ducks, of which he was first employed with the Portland Pirates, the farm team in the American Hockey League. In the play-offs in 2007 Carter was first appointed to the NHL squad the Ducks, with whom he was the Stanley Cup and thus the North American Championship win right away.

His first goal in the highest North American Hockey League scoring Ryan Carter on February 8, 2008 against the New Jersey Devils. In April of the same year the American extended his contract by three years in Anaheim. In November 2010 he was released to the Carolina Hurricanes in exchange for Stefan Chaput and Matt Kennedy. After just three months at the Hurricanes Carter was sent on 24 February 2011, together with a fifth- round vote in NHL Entry Draft 2011 in a transfer business to the Florida Panthers in exchange for Cory Stillman went to Carolina. In October 2011, the Panthers put him on the Waiverliste, of the New Jersey Devils chose the striker.

Internationally

Carter participated with the U.S. National Team at the 2010 World Cup. In six World Cup matches, the attacker scored a goal and an Assist at the World Cup in 2013 in Stockholm and Helsinki, he was again part of the national team and won the bronze medal with this.
