Ryan Duncan

Ryan Duncan (born 14 July 1985 in Calgary, Alberta ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is under contract with the Red Bull EHC München in the German Ice Hockey League since 2013.

Career

Ryan Duncan began his career as a hockey player with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks, for which he was active in the 2004/05 season in the British Columbia Hockey League. Then the attacker played four years for the team from the University of North Dakota. During this period he was elected in 2007, among other best player in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association and was awarded the Hobey Baker Memorial Award as Best Male Hockey players in the National Collegiate Athletic Association. For the Bridgeport Sound Tigers of the American Hockey League, he gave towards the end of the 2008/09 season his debut in professional hockey after he had previously signed a tryout contract with the farm team of the New York Islanders. For the 2009/10 season the Canadians joined the EC Red Bull Salzburg of the Austrian Hockey League, before he returned to North America in the summer of 2011.
