Ryan Lewis
Ryan Lewis ( born March 25, 1988 in Spokane, Washington ) is an American musician and music producer who is best known for his collaboration with the rapper Macklemore.
Biography
Ryan Lewis was born on 25 March 1988. He attended high school in Ferris Spokane, Washington and graduated from Roosevelt High School in Seattle. He studied at the University of Washington in focus Comparative History of Ideas. He was active early on as a guitarist various rock bands before he worked on audio production. On 1 January 2009 he released his solo album instrumentals. 6 November 2009 together with the rapper appeared Symmetry Album LP.
Besides his work as a DJ and music producer Lewis began taking an interest in photography from the age of 15 years. He was a professional photographer and began to work for Macklemore in summer 2006 as a photo designer. The two became friends and began working together musically. The end of 2008, according to several programs, they founded an independent, collaborative project. Its official debut made Macklemores Solo Song And We Danced, Lewis produced. Their first EP The VS. EP was released in 2009. In 2010 she was as The VS. [ Redux ] brought out again along with a remix EP.
