Ryan Reaves

Ryan Reaves ( born January 20, 1987 in Winnipeg, Manitoba ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player standing since 2007 with the St. Louis Blues in the National Hockey League under contract and playing in parallel for their farm team in Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League. His father, Willard Reaves played professional American football and ran on, among others, in the National Football League.

Career

Ryan Reaves began his career as a hockey player with the Brandon Wheat Kings, for by 2007 he was active from 2004 in the Canadian junior Western Hockey League. During this period, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in 2005 in the fifth round as the 156th overall player of the St. Louis Blues. First, the winger played from 2007 to 2010 but only for St. Louis ' farm team in Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League. For the 2010/11 season he made his debut for the Blues in the National Hockey League, where he scored two goals each and two assists in 28 games.
