Ryang Yong-gi

Ryang Yong -gi ( born January 7, 1982 in Osaka Prefecture ) is a Japanese -born football player of Korean descent.

Career

Ryang came in 2004 from the University of Hannan Vegalta Sendai, Zweitdivisionär the J. League. The midfielder established himself immediately and became a permanent fixture. Since 2008 he serves as team captain in the 2009 season, he completed all 51 league games and contributed 14 goals in the championship and the associated rise in the J. League 1.

2005 Ryang participated with the North Korean U -23 at the East Asia Games. He scored four goals in the tournament, including the 2-0 semi-final against arch-enemy South Korea. In the final he defeated with his team of Chinese selection.

2008 came Ryang for the North Korean national team in the World Cup qualifier against Jordan to a bet and also stood in the squad at the East Asian Championship 2008. In February 2010, he took with a Korean B- selection at the AFC Challenge Cup 2010 in Sri Lanka part. There succeeded by a final victory on penalties to Turkmenistan for the first time qualifying for an Asian championship since 1992. Ryang was with four goals scored, two in the preliminary round victory against the Indian U- 23 and two matches against Turkmenistan, one each in the preliminaries and the finals, best scorer of the tournament. In addition, he also received the award for Most Valuable Player for his performance of the tournament.
