Ryavallen is a sports facility in the Swedish city of Borås. She served until 2004 as the home ground for the Swedish football club IF Elfsborg. Today the plant is mainly used for athletics events.

The stadium was built in 1941. With the Football World Cup 1958 in Sweden Ryavallen Stadium two group stage matches were played: USSR - Austria ( 2-0) and Austria - England (2-2 ).

In 2000, the municipality of Borås began building a new arena, the Borås Arena. This was inaugurated in 2005. Since then play all the major teams, especially the IF Elfsborg, in the new arena.

  • The audience capacity is 19,400 people. Of the places are 1,400 covered seats and 5,000 standing places covered.
  • The record crowd of 22 654 people were at the game IF Elfsborg Boras - reached IFK Norrköping in 1961.
