Rypin County

The powiat Rypiński is a powiat ( county ) in the Polish province of Kujawy. It is located about 50 kilometers east of Toruń. Covering an area of ​​587.08 km ² live 44,000 inhabitants.

History

The county is in its present form since 1999. Until 1975 there was a county of the same name. From 1815 to 1918 he was part of Congress Poland or Russian Poland.
