Ryūzōji clan

The Ryuzoji Klan (Japanese龙 造 寺 氏, Ryuzoji -shi) is a Japanese clan of the Sengoku period, which was located in northern Kyushu.

Origin

As ancestors they rely on Fujiwara Hidesato. Their territories are the province of Hizen province and the saga. However, they had to serve in Chiba Kyūshū. Slowly they have their influence extended to the largest city on the island, Kitakyushu and its province of Hizen exchanged with the lands of the Chiba on Kyūshū.

Rise

When they eventually self-managed the castle and the cultivation of rice and the Ouchi defeated in the province of Suo, her head was established as a Sengoku daimyo, although he did not have significant resources. This climb was a provocation against established clans, and so it came to battle with the Ouchi, in which were contrary to all expectations, claiming the Ryuzoji but what the enemy daimyo led to suicide and left his clan to disappear from the scene.

Surrounded by the Ōtomo the east and the Shimazu in the south, they were in the far west of Japan largely insulated from the political and military developments.

Resolution

Later she joined the Matsudaira of Aizu province and remained in Aizu until the Meiji Restoration in the years from 1867.
