S-F Magazine

The SF Magazine (Japanese SFマガジンEsu Magajin EFU ) is a monthly Japanese science fiction magazine, which is published by Hayakawa Shobo. It will be released on the 25th of each month.

The first issue appeared in December 1959 in cooperation with the American Fantasy Magazine F & SF. The first editor in chief Masami Fukushima (福岛 正 実) ushered in the golden age of Japanese science fiction. At first it published mainly translations of American authors, later it went but also about to publish Japanese authors.

In the first issue, among other stories by Robert Sheckley, Philip K. Dick, Isaac Asimov, Arthur C. Clarke, Ray Bradbury and others have been published.

In addition to hard science fiction in the strict sense, it also publishes fantasy, miraculous stories and more. There are several monthly columns, for example ( They call me ) Trek Daddy, as well as one-piece and serials.
