S.S. Folgore Falciano Calcio

The SS Folgore / Falciano ( complete: Società Sportiva Folgore / Falciano ) is a football club based in Serravalle, San Marino. Folgore / Falciano currently playing in the league group B of the Sammarinese football championship.

History

The SS Folgore / Falciano was founded in 1972 and is the club colors of red, yellow and black.

In the season 1996/97 Folgore / Falciano first won the Sammarinese Championship a year later and could defend that title. After a runner-up was achieved in the season 1999/2000 the third league title and Folgore / Falciano thus qualified as first san -marine sian team ever for a UEFA competition, as the member association was first approved in 2000 for participation. In qualifying for the UEFA Cup 2000/01 Folgore / Falciano then had to give, after two significant defeats against FC Basel beaten with a total of 1:12 gates. Folgore / Falciano also twice won the Sammarinese Supercup, but could not win a title more since 2000.
