SA Sports Badge

The SA Sports Badge served in the era of National Socialism as a reward for men who according to the Nazi ideology of " raising the standard of public health " were active in sports. There are 1,052,661 ceremonies known to February 1937.

The badge was awarded a bronze, silver and gold. These three grades were not dependent on the age of acquisition ends, but defined by the service to be provided. Acquisition

Tests

The performance test consisted of three groups: physical exercises (ie athletics), ( military) exercises and sports grounds. The individual groups were divided into the following exercises:

Group I Physical Education

Group III -road racing

Different types of
