Saab 9-X
Saab 9-X in the Saab Museum
The Saab 9-X concept car was developed in 2001 by Saab and first presented at the IAA and at the Tokyo Motor Show. The 9- X was designed to combine the properties of a coupe, a roadster, a station wagon and a pickup truck in a car.
Design
The design comes from a team of ten developers of the Saab Advanced Styling Centre headed by Anthony Lo. Thus, the study was completely planned in Sweden and worked out and then produced at Bertone in Italy.
Drive
The car used a four-wheel drive system with a turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 engine, 6 -speed manual transmission and 19 -inch wheels. The headlights were equipped with light guides and there were a keyless start feature.
