In the administration of Community Saaletal the castle district seven communities were merged to perform their administrative business. The management community was formed on 1 January 2005 from the defunct administrative Communities Großkorbetha and Uichteritz ( the community Markwerben from the former administrative community Uichteritz came to the new administrative community Weißenfelser country). The administrative headquarters is located in the municipality Großkorbetha.

January 1, 2010 Uichteritz was incorporated into White Rock, Goseck was a member of the community association Unstruttal.

On September 1, 2010, all remaining municipalities were amalgamated into the city of White Rock.
