Saarepeedi Parish

Saarepeedi is a rural municipality in Estonia Viljandi County with an area of 98.3 km ². It has 1234 inhabitants (as of February 2, 2010 ).

In addition to the main town Saarepeedi (370 inhabitants) includes the rural community of the villages Aindu, Auksi, Karula, Kokaviidika, Moori, Peetrimõisa, Saarepeedi, Taari, Tobraselja, Tõnissaare, Välgite and Võistre.

Is archaeologically interesting triangular castle hill Naanu with his Wall of 7 m high. Judging by the ceramics and jewelry, archaeologists have unearthed there, the fortress was abandoned early 13th century.
