Saber (sectoral currency)

The Saber ( spanish / portuguese: knowledge ) is a planned sectoral currency in Brazil, to be issued by the Ministry of Culture. The currency is backed by education and training services and is issued to students who can use it to earn tuition by older students.

The currency is passed from the lower classes to higher classes in schools, until it reaches a university where the currency is used to acquire education by the state. At this point it is returned to the Ministry.

The validity of these vouchers is limited to ensure a regular and verstetigte disclosure of the currency.

In addition, through such education currencies in poor countries, many educational efforts simply affordable.
