Sabine Englert ( born November 27, 1981 in Aschaffenburg ) is a German handball player ( goalkeeper ).

She played until 1998 for the TUSPO upper castle and then moved for two years to TGS Walldorf. From 2000 to 2003, the 1.85 m tall goalkeeper was at the Bundesliga TV Mainzlar under contract. Then she joined Bayer Leverkusen, where they played until 2007.

For the 2007 /08 season she stood in the Austrian first division club Hypo Niederösterreich Austria in goal. With the Austrian series champion she reached the EHF Champions League Final. After two years with Hypo Niederösterreich Austria, she joined the Danish top club FC Midtjylland Håndbold.

With the national Sabine Englert took part in the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008, in which Germany in the group stage finished last. She stood in the squad of the German national team for the World Handball Championship for Women 2009 in China.
