Sachiko Yamashita

Sachiko Yamashita (Japanese山下 佐 知 子, Yamashita Sachiko, born August 20, 1964) is a former Japanese marathon runner.

She grew up in Tottori athlete was at her debut in 1989 Fourth of Nagoya Marathon in 2:34:59. In the same race three years later she qualified by winning in 2:31:02 for the World Athletics Championships 1991 in Tokyo, where she behind Wanda Panfil (POL ) and before Katrin Dorre (GER ), the silver medal in her personal best time of 2:29:57 fetched.

In a marathon, the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992 they finished fourth in 2:36:26.
