Sachsenspiegel (German television news series)
The Saxon Mirror is one of the three regional news magazines of the MDR television.
The show will be broadcast in January 1992 in the framework of the MDR - evening program 19:00 to 19:30 clock in the transmission area of the Free State of Saxony. In the first years there were transmitting the Sachsenspiegel only from Monday to Saturday, Sundays since 1997. The Saxon Mirror brings daily updates on the transmission area on topics of politics, business, sports, science and culture. The magazine is divided into three to four main themes, as well as a news view. The sport has its own block, which is placed just before the weather in the program in the program.
A precursor was the Saxon Mirror in the 2nd program of the television of the GDR. There, in 1988, the first time the show aired until 1991 between 18:45 clock to 19:00 clock " With us in Saxony".
