Sadler-Report

When Sadler Report is a spectacular report of Tory MPs Michael Thomas Sadler (1780-1835) from the year 1832 on the conditions during the Industrial Revolution in Britain. Sadler tried to push through with a particularly gruesome descriptions of a ten- hour law for child labor.

Friedrich Engels wrote about the report:

" Sadler was misled by his noble passion to the most lopsided and unrichtigsten allegations that he lured by the very nature of his questions the witness answers from which, although true, but contained in an inverted, slate form. "
