The Sado is a river in Portugal. The source is located in the Serra da Vigia. From there, the Sado flows some 180 kilometers in mostly northerly direction and flows near the city of Setúbal, south of Lisbon in the Atlantic.

At the delta of the River Sado Nature Reserve Reserva Natural do Sado Estuary is located. In the estuary of the Sado lives a population of dolphin species of bottlenose dolphin.
