Sadu

Sadu ( German Zood ​​, Zoodt or sod Bach, Hungarian Cód ) is a town in Sibiu County, Transylvania, Romania. The population amounted to 1910 and 2002 to 2143 or 2492nd

Location

It lies about 27 km south of Sibiu ( Hermannstadt), in the area Marginimea Sibiului at the foot of the Cindrel Mountains.

Attractions

1925, a memorial cross in honor of the first world war dead of the village was built. This stone cross is fenced and contains an inscription that refers to the dead sons of the community.
