Safe and Sound ( German: Alive and kicking ) is a song by the American indie pop duo Capital Cities. The piece was published in February 2011 in the USA in digital form, in Germany. In the U.S., the song was used in 2011 for a video of the Diabetes Hands Foundation on April 5, 2013, in Germany it took Vodafone in 2013 in a promotional video.
