Safi Airways is a private Afghan airline, which operates out of Kabul, is the seat but in Dubai.

History

Safi Airways was founded in September 2006 by the Afghan millionaire Abdul Rahim Safi and his clan. According to Flight International, the first flight took place on 17 November 2007 with a company purchased by Air China Boeing 767 -200ER with three weekly flights from Kabul to Sharjah.

Safi has its head office at Dubai Airport, operates according to information according to the guidelines of the European Aviation Safety Agency EASA offers at Kabul own service services around the aircraft (English Fixed Base Operator FBO ) and allows handling services for business aircraft to freighters Boeing 747

Safi is a founded in Afghanistan by three airlines, competing with the state's Ariana Afghan Airlines and Kam Air's private is also the first Afghan airline which is bookable in the global reservation systems.

Destinations

Currently operated Safi Airways routes Kabul - Herat, Bahrain, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and New Delhi (January 2013). Before issuing the test flight ban in the EU airspace was three times a week a connection from Kabul to Frankfurt am Main. This route was operated with the Airbus A340 -300 in a 3- class configuration ( Business, Premium Economy and Economy ).

Since February 1, 2010, there is a so-called interline agreements with Lufthansa, United Airlines, Emirates and Qatar Airways. Routes of Safi Airways are integrated into a total routing and example sold at a price and as Lufthansa Lufthansa ticket. Passengers are thus only a ticket and do not need more new check-in. Even the luggage is booked directly to Endflughafen.
