Sagaholm

Saga Holm is a Bronze Age grave mound in Ljungarums socks south of Jönköping in Småland, Sweden. Around a dozen large grave mounds have been found in the Jönköping area, but only the three meters high and 22 meters in diameter measured Saga Holm has a first spilled, border stone circle of 45 sandstone slabs, some of which are decorated with petroglyphs.

The highly stylized carvings show hunting scenes, people, animals and ships that are stylistically related to the representations in the grave of Kivik. Below is a scene which is interpreted as zoophilia. The finds are located in Jönköping läns Museum in Jönköping. The grave is ( uncalibrated ) to 1445-1185 BC dated, what about 2000 BC calibrated results. Some 1,500 years later, four smaller tombs were built at the foot of the hill.
