Sage Software GmbH

The Sage Software GmbH is a German software company with headquarters in Frankfurt am Main and branch offices in Leipzig, Dresden, Vienna and six other cities. Since 1997 it belongs to the British Sage Group. Managing directors are Peter Dewald and Guy Berruyer.

In Germany, the company is today, with around 250,000 customers, 1,000 resellers and 750 employees, a market leader for business software and services in the German Mittelstand. Sage solutions are adapted to local customers' needs and speak small business on up to the more sophisticated, internationally active medium-sized companies. The product portfolio includes enterprise resource planning, production, financial accounting, financial analysis, human resources and customer management through to specialized and industry solutions. Company History

CHD was founded in 1983 by Karl -Heinz Killeit and offered in the eighties software tools for the processing of financial and payroll accounting and order processing, which could be used on the first personal computers. By the end of the eighties CHD had firmly established with more than 100,000 active installations of its software as a market leader in enterprise application software for small and medium-sized companies in Germany. End of the eighties more solutions for freelancers, entrepreneurs and craftsmen were added. 1997, the company was eventually taken over by the British Sage Group and was first called Sage KHK. Only since 2004, the company is managed under its present name Sage Software GmbH.
