Saginaw is a city in Tarrant County in the U.S. state of Texas in the United States.

Geography

The city is located 17 km northwest of Fort Worth in the center of Tarrant County and has a total area of 19.4 km ² without significant water surface.

Demographic data

According to the census of 2000, there were 12,374 people in 4,229 households and 3,450 families. The population density was 637.0 inhabitants per km ². The racial the population was composed of 87.64 % White, 1.93 % African American, 0.91 % Native American, 1.24 % Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander residents from the and 6.09 % from other ethnic groups.
