Sahr Senesie ( born June 20, 1985 in Koidu, Sierra Leone ) is a German footballer Sierra Leonean origin. He is the brother of Antonio Rüdiger.

Career

Clubs

The attacker, who can also be used as an attacking midfielder, came to the youth of Borussia Dortmund in 2000. He had previously played for the Berlin clubs Tasmania Gropius city and VfB Neukölln. From the youth of Borussia Dortmund in 2002, he came to the professionals. In the UEFA Cup match in 2003/ 04 against FC Sochaux (final score: 2-2 ), he scored seven minutes after coming off the bench the Anschlusstor to 1:2.

In February 2005 Senesie was loaned to the Swiss club Grasshopper Club Zurich, for whom he played until the summer. He then spent a year in the German Regionalliga for TSG 1899 Hoffenheim. From the beginning of the 2006/07 season he played back at Borussia Dortmund, but only had a contract for the second team. Because of Personalnot on the offensive he was several times in the first team; on October 5, he gave his comeback against VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga. After the 2007 /08 Senesie left the Borussia. On 14 November 2008 he signed a contract with the then West Regional division Eintracht Trier. There he was in 2009/10 together with Lucas Barrios and Thomas Müller DFB Cup top scorer (4 goals each ). In 2010 Senesie eventually switched to the Saarland to FC Homburg. From the 2011/12 season he played in the third league at Wacker Burghausen. At the end of the 2012/13 season Senesie rejected the offer from Burghausen to a contract extension. In July 2013 Senesie moved to the regional league SG Sonnenhof Großaspach.

National

Senesie has the Sierra Leonean and the German citizenship; he played between 2001 and 2005 in various national teams of the DFB.
