Sai Ngam District

Amphoe Sai Ngam ( Thai: อำเภอ ไทรงาม ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the eastern part of the province of Kamphaeng Phet. The Kamphaeng Phet province is located in the northern region of Thailand.

Geography

The district administration from Amphoe Sai Ngam is located about 43 kilometers from the provincial capital.

Neighboring districts (from the south clockwise): Amphoe Sai Thong Watthana the, Mueang Kamphaeng Phet, Phran Kratai and Lan Krabue in the province of Kamphaeng Phet and Amphoe Wachirabarami and Sam Ngam in the province of Phichit.

History

The county Sai Ngam was May 15, 1975 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by the two Tambon Sai Ngam and Nong Khla were spun off from the district Mueang Kamphaeng Phet. On March 25, 1979 Sai Ngam was finally classifies the Amphoe.

Management

The circle is divided into seven subdistricts (tambon ), which are divided further into 72 villages ( Muban ).

Sai Ngam ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ไทรงาม ) is also the name of a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district. It consists of parts of the tambon Sai Ngam.

In addition, there are seven " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
