Sai Noi District

Amphoe Sai Noi ( Thai อำเภอ ไทรน้อย ) is a district ( Amphoe ) of the province of Nonthaburi. The Nonthaburi province is located in the middle of Central Thailand.

Geography

Neighboring districts are (from north clockwise): Amphoe Lat Bua Luang in Ayutthaya province, Amphoe Lat Lum Kaeo province of Pathum Thani, the Amphoe Bang Bua Thong and Bang Yai in Nonthaburi Province, and Amphoe Phutthamonthon and Bang Len in the province Nakhon Pathom.

History

The circular area was originally managed by the county Bang Bua Thong from. On January 1, 1948 Four Tambon to form the new district ( King Amphoe ) Sai Noi were summarized. On June 6, 1956, the Unterkeis was raised to a circle.

1971 Tambon Khun Si from the circle Bang Len ( Nakhon Pathom ) was among Sai Noi added. 1979 from the southern part of the Tambon Council Niyom the new Tambon Khlong Khwang; the following year the southern part of tambon Sai Noi was declared the new Tambon Thawi Watthana.

Management

The district is divided into seven subdistricts ( tambon) divided, which in turn in 67 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.

Sai Noi ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ไทรน้อย ) itself has a small-town status ( thesaban tambon) and covers parts of tambon Sai Noi and Khlong Khwang.

There are in this district also seven " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations).
