Sai Yok District
Amphoe Sai Yok ( Thai: อำเภอ ไทรโยค ) is a district ( Amphoe ) in the Kanchanaburi province. The Kanchanaburi Province is located in the extreme west of the central region of Thailand.
Geography
The district lies in the valley of the River Kwae Noi ( "Little Kwae "). Along the river known as the Death Railway ( "Death Railway" ) leads to the station Nam Tok ( " waterfall ").
Neighbouring districts (from north clockwise): Amphoe Thong Pha Phum, the, Si Sawat, and Mueang Kanchanaburi Kanchanaburi province and across the border to Myanmar Tanintharyi Division.

National Parks
- National Park Sai Yok - opened on 27 October 1980 an area of 500 km ²; the most famous point is the Sai Yok waterfall.

In Amphoe Sai Yok Kanchanaburi is the secondary campus of Mahidol University
Management
The district is divided into seven subdistricts ( tambon) divided, divide further into 55 villages ( Muban ).
There are also two small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:
- Wang Pho ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล วัง โพธิ์ ) consists of parts of the Tambon Lum Sum,
- Nam Tok Sai Yok Noi ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล น้ำตก ไทรโยค น้อย ) consists of parts of the tambon Tha Sao.
In addition, there are seven " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
