Sailly-le-Sec

Sailly -le- Sec ( Picard: Sailly- Sé ) is a northern French village with 346 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) by the Somme in the Picardie region. The municipality is part of the Canton of Bray- sur -Somme and is part of the Communauté de communes du Val de Somme.

Geography

The municipality lies about 7 km east of Corbie on the north bank of the canalized Somme at the department road D233 and extends north to about the department D1 road beyond.

History

The municipality received the Croix de guerre as a distinction from 1914 to 1918.
