Saint-Brevin-les-Pins
Saint- Brevin -les-Pins is a commune with 12,456 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Loire -Atlantique in the Pays de la Loire. It lies at the mouth of the Loire into the Atlantic. The municipality is the southern abutment of the Saint- Nazaire bridge.
Geography
The municipality is situated approximately 60 kilometers west of Nantes. The Saint- Nazaire bridge connects the municipality with the city of Saint- Nazaire on the other side of which opens Loire.
Nature
The community has a diverse nature: On the one hand there are the nine kilometers of sandy beaches by the sea. For this, the partly wooded dunes come behind the beaches, forest areas in the hinterland as well as the mouth of the Loire.
