Saint-Broladre

Saint- Broladre is a commune with 1154 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011 ) in the department of Ille -et -Vilaine in the north east region of Brittany.

Geography

The municipality of Saint- Broladre extends from the coast of the English Channel over flat, agriculturally intensively used marshland ( Marais de Dol ) up to about 100 meters above sea level in the south. The coastline on the strong tidal exposed Wadden Sea is diked. Ten kilometers to the northeast is the rocky island of Mont -Saint -Michel.

At Saint- Broladre part of the four kilometers south of the village hamlet on Rougé.

Neighboring municipalities of Saint- Broladre are Roz- sur -Couesnon and Saint- Marcan in the east, in the southeast Sains, La Boussac in the south, Baguer- Picab in the southwest and Cherrueix in the West.

Community partnerships

Since 1995 there is a community partnership with New Churches, Germany. In each case, the beginning of May ( Whitsun weekend ) take place reciprocal visits by larger delegations. Track in a year Neuenkirchener delegation to Saint - Broladre, come the following year, a delegation from Saint- Broladre after New churches.
