Saint-Jean-de-la-Ruelle

Saint -Jean -de- la- Ruelle is a commune with 16,680 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the Loiret in the Centre region. The municipality is part of the Arrondissement of Orléans and is the main town ( chef-lieu ) of the Canton of Saint -Jean -de- la- Ruelle.

Geography

Saint -Jean -de- la- Ruelle is located west of Orléans in the southern Paris Basin. The municipality is part of the Val de Loire and is registered in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Saint -Jean -de- la- Ruelle La -Chapelle -Saint -Mesmin is surrounded by the municipalities in the north of Saran, Orléans in the east, Saint- Pryvé -Saint -Mesmin in the south, southwest and Ingré in the West.
